Building Envelope Event - January 24thJanuary 15, 2018
Exterior wall assemblies must be able to protect a structure from fire and natural hazards associated with the local environment, including rain, hail, high winds and temperature extremes. They are required to limit fire spread from external fire risks (e.g. fire from adjacent buildings or vehicles), from ignition sources within the cavity (e.g. hot work, grinding sparks and electrical shorts) and from internal fire risks (e.g. presence of combustible materials, failure of electrical or mechanical equipment).
Delivering the materials and design to manage these risks while managing labour time and costs continue to evolve and we are pleased to have 2 presenters joining us on Wednesday, January 24th at 1:00 p.m. to deliver CEU approved presentations that can address this topic.
Morin Bros. is pleased to participate in co-hosting this event with the BECOR (Building Envelope Council Ottawa Region) member group at the Sala San Marco Event & Conference Center at 215 Preston Street, Ottawa, K1R 7R1 (613-238-6063)
